Let's face it we are going to make mistakes. We are called upon to make choices every single day and inevitably we are going to make decisions that teach us a lesson. Some will be harder than others to face. Yet that is the key... We must face them! To identify with the lesson you must first accept that there is one by admitting you made a misstep in the first place. When we reflect on some of our biggest decisions our tendency is to reflect soley on the ones that may have caused heartache, pain, confusion. The ones that may have hurt others and created doubt we tend to overlook. As we reflect we must see it all! We must see that everything has a moment that helps create who we are. Living life provides the beauty of not one, but many defining moments that give us direction. They test our faith only to make it stronger. They give us hope so that we will continue to move closer to our dreams and closer to God who provides them. The biggest mistake we can make is not admitting we made one... For it is in honesty, awareness and ownership that we may move forward with the experience to simply do our best to be better than we were yesterday.
