All the lessons you learn, trials you face and even things yet to come will be a part of, and in some cases, test the foundation you have built. The most extraordinary thing about those events is we control how we approach and perceive them. We control what we will do with the experience and how we grow while in it. There are blessings in everything and understanding that the blessings of life come to us through the love of living life helps bring it into perspective. Our children, loved ones, our family, friends, the lives we have touched and the ones that have touched ours all matter. It isn't so much that we are blessed, but that we realize just how blessed we will always continue to be. Remember even in our darkest moments God will present us with blessings. We just have to be willing to take notice, and it's the darkest of moments that the smallest light shines through. So if you are feeling like your light isn't shining because of things in your life stop and look around and realize just how many people are using your light to illuminate their path!
