Sometimes we wish it could be handed to us. That we wouldn't have to go get it, that maybe just this once it would fall in our lap... Yes, but often with that comes a lot less appreciation for it. We don't remember what it took to grasp the moment, and thus it gets easier to let it go. We question our blessings and we forget about the ones we are living in right now. Think back on those tough moments. Think about those mountains you have climbed before and remember if everything was easy then the amazing peaks and valleys of life would not matter. The ability to bask and be in awe of those things we fight hardest for build character and give us perspective when we inevitably face another challenge. If life is hard remember the beauty of other moments you have experienced. If you wonder when things will get better then remember when they were. Whatever point of life you are in, whatever challenge you are facing, whatever setback, whatever peak or valley... Realize the blessings are there, and that faith tells us they always will be.
