From an email I received this weekend: "What inspires you to write your topics everyday?"
For 10 minutes everyday I sit and reflect on the things that matter most to me. I think about the blessings, the challenges, the mistakes I've made, the ones I've yet to make. I think about family, friends, where I've been and where I'm going. Some days my hearts heavy, other days it's full. I wonder if today i'll accomplish my to do list, or at least something on it. I look around at my house and give thanks to God for my wife and kids for making it a home. I think about my family and all the support they have given me, and the love we share with each other. I think about my company and all the people there who are like family that make me want to be better. Most of all I think about the journey to this moment. The twists, turns, mountains, valleys, the cities and states we've lived, the people who we met, the friends we've made a long the way and the ones we've yet to meet. Some days I am overwhelmed with how much there is to be grateful for, and as I sit and reflect God guides me. He gives me the courage to write it, the heart to express it, the faith to pursue my dreams, the passion to Believe in the Unbelievable possibilities that each new day brings, and the blessing to share that with anyone who allows me the opportunity to do so... And that is all the inspiration I will ever need.
