Take a moment to enjoy the simple things. Laughter of kids in the next room, a beautiful sunset, a kiss from your spouse and best friend, a warm dinner with family. The sunrise and the promise of a new day. The ability to hear another story from a grandparent. Take a moment to enjoy the simple things. Hand write a thank you card. Teach your kids that "thank you", "yes sir", "yes ma'am" is how you should always respond. Sit quietly and do nothing. Turn your phone off and take a walk. Have two cookies instead of one. Pray with your kids. Take a moment to enjoy the simple things. Laugh until you cry. Feel the emotions you need to feel. Express your opinion and be open to the expression of others. Read a book for fun. Let your kids read you to sleep. Call a friend you've been missing. Buy flowers for your mom and tell her thank you for always hugging you tight.
