Thanksgiving
Today I will miss family and friends we have lost, but I will appreciate the opportunity to talk about them and share their memory so that their presence will be forever felt. Today we will laugh, cry, sing, and dance as we celebrate the privilege of living in a place we can. I will give thanks for the soldiers both past and present who allow us days like today and be grateful for the many times they have spent days away from their families so that I could be with mine. I will think about the trials, the adversity, the valleys and give thanks for the peaks. I will give thanks to so many of you for letting me be, letting me share, letting me grow, and experience. I will give thanks for the blessings that sometimes I take for granted. I will give thanks for my wife, my babies, my friends, my family and all those that hold me up day after day. I will give thanks for the people I am blessed to work with who push themselves to be better, who push me to be better, and are so much a part of the many things I am grateful for every single day. I will say thank you to so many for never giving up on me! I will pray with and for this one nation under God. I will be hopeful that while we all will be extra aware of our blessings today we are thankful each and every day we are blessed to live life and give more than we take... And I will simply say thank you to God... For "this is the day the LORD has made. Let us all rejoice and be glad in it." (Psalm 118:24)
