Thankful? Appreciative? Humble? Even when things aren't going like you want them to? Those are the times that giving thanks should be top of mind. That's when appreciation of all you've been blessed to experience should be at the forefront. That's when being humble enough to know that where you are today is a gift. It's easy to be grateful when everything is right. It's even easier to forget about those moments when things aren't. We question, we get angry, we doubt. We don't realize that the valley we are in will make the peaks that much more beautiful. No matter where you are right now: good, bad, happy, sad, positive, negative... That is the perfect time to give thanks to God for all the things that make up who you are, where you have been, where you'll go, and what you will become. After all, every blessing starts somewhere.
