God works in mysterious ways. His plans often elude us until the moment we realize what He was doing. It can be days, weeks, even years before it sinks in, and even then we may not be able to quite grasp it all. While we often hear we shouldn't question God, even the strongest in faith will. God understands we won't always accept what He has in store for us, He even knows before we do when we will turn our backs on Him... but throughout it all he will never leave our side. Today is one of those times I find myself questioning, I find myself at a loss for words, but deep down I know God has His plan. So I'll pray. I'll pray for His will to be done, for my faith to hold me up, and for the understanding and strength to believe even when it seems impossible to believe.
Today I'll leave you with this from "Footprints in the Sand"...
"The LORD replied, my precious, precious child, I Love you and I would never leave you! During your times of trial and suffering when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
