Can you remember a day when you felt like you were under attack? The morning started out miserable and then it only got worse from there. People didn't get you, the car wouldn't start, the kids didn't cooperate, it rained and you forgot your umbrella, somebody made sure your alarm clock didn't get set and of course you are catching every red light! That wasn't even the half of it as your clothes didn't fit quite right, your head hurt and they decided that today your favorite coffee would no longer be on special. Work was horrible, your lunch was undercooked, your drive home took forever because everyone forgot how to drive in the rain. All you want is to get home, shower, get in bed and start over tomorrow!
Exactly... And there it is!
That thought that eluded you all day. The one that might have helped you laugh a little more, notice the good things (there were some, but you missed them) and realize that you do have tomorrow! Not to mention the blessings of your warm bed, your kids, your coffee, your job, your shower... The most miserable of days can be awful and draining, but often we forget that we are living and not long ago we had a perfect day. Each and every day finds us experiencing the gift of life and the blessings of being a part of it! God has a goal... That we are forever carried by faith in all we do and are blessed even when we think we aren't by the hope of a better tomorrow and the beautiful dawn of a new day!
So if your morning didn't start right then the good news is YOU still have all day to finish it right!
