How often have we heard what it takes to be happy? Truth is, happiness isn't something we can define, as it is unique to all of us. I've come to realize that in moments of complete disarray I can still be happy. I can find the joy in living and the silver lining in every cloud. Sometimes though it takes some work to push through all the doubt, hurt, sadness, and negativity to find it, but you can if you keep digging deep. It may take time, even years, depending on the circumstances you are in, but it's there. There in God's blessings to us, there in the sunrise of a new day, there in the laughter of our children, the challenge of a job, a hug from family, a kiss from a significant other, the phone call from a friend, a helping hand, an opportunity. It's there when we are ready, and there as we define it. After all "happiness is a journey not a destination."- B. Sweetland
