"Thank you"! "Job well done"! "Way to go!" Recognition is important. When someone does something well, we should take the time to show them appreciation. We should acknowledge them for what they have been able to accomplish. Sometimes though, in that recognition, we overlook why they were able to accomplish it. The fight, the dedication, the commitment, their character and attitude are all affirmation of who they are. We should show our gratitude for that, as it is those attributes that often motivate us to fight our own fights. We all have those special people in our lives. The ones whose ability to inspire comes by just being themselves! Take notice of their focus on the values, blessings and beauty of life that gives them an ability to push even when the odds are stacked against them. It's not by accident. They have faith in God's plan and the willingness to show it, live it and lead by it! Appreciate those that reach the peak, but take a moment to also acknowledge and affirm just how much their pursuit of life from the valleys to those peaks means to you. Cherish those people... Tell them what they mean to you! Let them know you recognize they are a blessing and tell them how much they inspire you to pursue peaks of your own!
