Daily BITUB- “Feedback”

How often do we go on the defensive when we are given feedback or even just asked a question?  Our tendency is to push back instead of looking within.  After all, we couldn't have done anything wrong!  We all have areas of opportunity and what I've found over the years is egos, blaming, excuses have no room being in a place where people want to be better!  Pointing fingers creates a smoke screen that clouds our ability to see the task at hand.  A task that we can all benefit from.  A task to look beyond ourselves at what truly matters.  The goal, the dream, the commitment, the promise... whatever you are pursuing be blessed to receive guidance, coaching, lessons, experience!  Be open to taking it all in and investing in yourself and others!  It's not about you, but about what you can provide to others.  It's what being a servant leader means.  To be of service is to realize what you can offer others and what they can offer you.  There never was a stronger you than the one that realized that to be better you have to be willing to listen to the possibility of what better can be!
