Daily BITUB- “Courage”

It takes courage.  It takes realizing the moment is bigger than you.  It's not easy to speak up, speak out, and stand up to what matters sometimes.  You know you will open yourself up for your own shortcomings.  You know there will be fingers pointed, hurt feelings, conflict.  Don't let it deter you.  If it matters to you then it matters!  If not you bringing things to light then who?  Every day we are given opportunities to be more than we were yesterday.  We are given moments to help those who may not be able to help themselves.  We are challenged, pushed back, and held back and we will stay there unless we make the choice not to!  You know what needs to happen.  You are strong enough to make it happen.  Be confident, be open to give and get feedback, be focused on solutions, and leave your ego at the door.  After all, it's not about what you've done, but about what you will do.  Today, have courage!  Have the courage to give more than you take and be the difference maker willing to influence the outcome.  You may just be the catalyst for others to realize they are capable of doing the same.
