Sometimes you forget the beauty that exists in the small things... You stop seeing because you stop looking. Why is that? What's it going to take for you to take pause and appreciate? Maybe it is a series of subtle things, or maybe it is something that jolts you awake? Either way, life is a journey of observation and perspective. Both of which we control. For me, I took a moment to be in the moment and found things I've been missing. The sunrise looks different when you let yourself take time to feel the warmth of the rays. Your children's laughter becomes that much more comforting when you realize they are growing up faster than you want them to. Your quiet times matter more because your busy times outnumber them. Your prayers are no longer about what you want, but more what you want for others. Your heart doesn't take as long to get full, because you start to realize you already have everything you need. Your relationship with God starts to mature and you realize He's simply been waiting for you to. The small things matter more because you realize the biggest blessings in your life started out just as small, and the sunset becomes a reflection of your day. Did you, could you, would you, have you done everything you could to make this day the day you started seeing the beauty in the small things?
