We are harder on ourselves than anyone ever could be? Why is it we find it easy to scrutinize our shortcomings, but hard to revel at our accomplishments? It's not pride or conceit... It's taking the moments you reach a benchmark, a peak, a goal and using it to propel yourself into the next challenge! You must take a moment to notice all the blessings you are to you and to others. We often live within ourselves so much that our ability to downplay and push ourselves backwards can change the course of our lives. Appreciate the struggle, give thanks for the grind, and be grateful that God gives you exactly what you need to grow, learn, and be better each and every day. Trust in Him as He trusts in you! Use that faith to see what so many already do when they look at you! Then let your determination in meeting your expectations create your definition of a successful life. It will ultimately create the path you seek and allow you to not only appreciate the challenges, but also all the beauty in overcoming them!
