Daily BITUB- “Emotions”

How often do we allow our emotions to lead us? Shouldn't we be in control of our emotions? It's not easy. When in the moment our instinct tells us to react! So, when we do it often ends up worse then when it started. It takes strength to hit the pause button and collect ourselves. We must take into account all the circumstances and take inventory of the situation. What matters and what doesn't? Do we need to get into this, or do we simply need to carry on with what we are focused on. The distractions are inevitable, but that doesn't mean we have to allow it to distract us! It's good to express your emotions, but make sure it's the right ones. Give yourself time to get your footing and understand the moment, then react! Let yourself express what you feel, why you feel it, and why that moment matters. You will be better for it, and who knows maybe the emotions you feel once you understand why you feel them will be better for everyone!
