When I was a kid I always felt like I couldn't do enough. I wanted to climb higher on the tree, ride my bike faster, run faster. I struggled with that feeling through most of my life. I wasn't content with where I was... I wanted more. You might be thinking I'm going to say it's different now, but it's not. In fact that feeling has grown over the years, but it has shifted from myself to the people around me. I feel like I can never do enough for others. I want to do more, want to give more, want to help, want to serve. I want to help them realize their personal and professional goals. I want to see them light up as they reach a milestone and realize they can do it, that limitations are often self inflicted, that dreams aren't going to realize themselves. Why? Why not give up on people? Why not just stop trying? Because the world is full of people with promise, potential, and passion. Sometimes they just need a kickstart. Maybe, though, it's simply because nobody ever gave up on me. Don't be afraid to fight for what you believe and for all those who never stopped believing in you!
