Daily BITUB- “Thankful”

"Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where He prayed." (Mark 1:35)

I know we often spend our time in prayer asking God for things. We ask Him for help, for wisdom, for guidance, to give us this and to take away that. That's ok, because God already knows what's heavy on our hearts. He knows where we are and where we are wanting to go. He even knows where we will be before we get there. Yet, how often do we overlook the blessings He has bestowed upon us? We are so consumed with what we don't have we forget about the things we do have. We overlook the blessings, the good days, the special moments, the ability to have another day filled with possibility. So, while we all have things we want, take a moment today to give thanks to God for always providing us what we need.
