With all the bad and negative in the world today it is so difficult to stay the course. Yet it's easy to lose faith. Easy to question and easy to be angry at circumstances, each other, even God. Easy to point fingers, pass the blame, and take sides. It's easy to become divided. As hard as it may be though, this is exactly the time we mustn't do that. This is the time we must pull together and hold tight to one another. We must open our minds, give freely and listen to each other. We must be strong for those who can't be. We must have faith for those doubting theirs. We must give thanks to God for the light in those dark moments and we must offer to do what we can when we can. That may only be a prayer, a thought, a promise to keep moving forward and to think positive as we seek resolutions, solutions, and answers to our prayers. Yes, times are tough, but it is through faith, belief, and love that we must be tougher.
Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer today is for our nation, for everyone affected by the shootings in El Paso and Dayton, and for all of us that we may continue to turn our attention to God and to prayer that through Him we may find comfort.
