Don't hide!  Get out there!  Show them what you got!  Be open to all the great things that can be!  Be all you all the time. Say what you feel. Tell the people who matter in your life you love and need them. Express your emotions! Inspire others. Motivate more! Lend your faith, give hope, be an example. Be someone's rock.  Give advice. Be willing to take it!  Teach and learn. Create memories that last a lifetime. Build relationships that last longer. Give everything you can and take what others offer you!  Talk to your parents about everything. Listen to your grandparents tell stories about anything. Be proud. Stay humble. Appreciate the life you have. Focus on what you do have and stop worrying about what you don't!  Pray more!  Spread joy. Be positive. Comfort others. Be comforted!  Marry your best friend!  Don't make promises you can't keep.  Don't be so busy working you forget why you are working! Make sure you remember your kids matter more than you.  Be your blessings!  Give thanks to God for He is great!

Determination coupled with dedication creates a strong foundation for overcoming any obstacle in our path.  Sometimes though, our pursuit of the path makes it difficult to see it.  Especially when you are uncertain if you are even on a path! I know that right now there are many who doubt in their ability, that things can be better, or even if they know what better is for them.  We have all been there.  If you are walking along side God and being honest with yourself about what you truly need, then despite that uncertainty I assure you that you are headed in the right direction.  Every challenge, adversity, all the negative of life is fuel to keep moving forward!  Becoming who we want to be and having faith in our ability isn't always going to be easy. Your belief in you and God's plan won't be either.  That's part of the journey.  It's part of living.  It's part of realizing that if we are supposed to have it then we better be willing to dig in and give it all of us every day!  The strength you need you already have. The blessings to help you are already there. If you don't see it... Just look around and you might just see how many people are counting you as one of their blessings.

While actions may speak louder than words we often overlook that words initiate that action. From whispering "I love you" to shouting from the rooftops, "I will fight for what I believe!", our words have strength!  They can influence the outcome of a day, motivate, inspire, encourage, lift up, comfort...  Or they can do the opposite if we allow it.  They can pray for someone, with someone, or simply say "thank you" to God for His blessings.  You may never know the impact of your words, but make no mistake, what we say matters.  We can change someone's perspective and we can change a life.  So speak with sincerity, shout with conviction, feel, be true, and be conscientious of what you say and cherish your opportunities to let your words speak just as loud as your actions!

Who matters?  Why do those special people make you want to do more?  Why do they push you?  Why do they inspire you?  Why?  

Your wife, husband,  family, friends...  However they influence you, whatever they give you, whatever you give them- Just be sure they know! Tell them what you feel every single day. Express your emotions. Experience life with them. Let them in and keep them close. Give them your shoulder and hold them tightly in your arms. Give them your strength. Let them witness your faith. Let them feel how important they are to you. Make sure they know the blessings they bring to your life and the hope they bring to your day. Let them see you shine. Witness their beauty. Let them be themselves. Be vulnerable with them. Tell them your deepest secrets. Let them chase their wildest dreams. Support their endeavors. Encourage their goals. Pick them up. Let them carry you. Trust them with your emotions.  Give them your love and be willing to let them love you back. Even though we may feel we have been on a path for sometime it may only be the beginning of a longer road.  A longer road where we will encounter more of who we are and what we are capable of being. We must allow ourselves to be open to everything we can face on that path.  The good, bad, the hurt, joy, the friendships, challenges, and whatever else God has for us along the journey.  Every experience has its beauty. Even the moments we felt things were at there worst we still learned, evolved, and grew. Those are blessings we must look back upon and be thankful. Thankful we are stronger, wiser, and that much closer to our dreams becoming the reality we have fought for all our lives. The journey asks us to cross boundaries, to dream bigger than our limitations, and to stretch our imagination beyond anything and everything we have known. Every moment creates a reaction. That reaction has the ability to create you or you can influence your reaction by attitude, emotion and even reflecting on experiences past. Think of how you react to certain situations and chances are you will begin to understand why people react the way they do to and around you. Negative reactions are easy.  Remember negative attention is better than no attention and it is often negativity that prevents us from progression and finding solutions to our problems.  Negative people exist.  They can create diversions, smoke screens and if allowed can influence you and how you approach what lies ahead.  It won't always be easy to react positively.  It won't always be easy to be the light in the dark.  When you do not only do you thrive, your influence just may change those negative people and their reactions all together. Daily BITUB- "Where are the blessings?"

Have you ever felt like you had nothing left to give at the end of a day?  You exhausted all your physical, mental and spiritual strength just to make it!  You even question where are all the blessings have gone!  I think we've all had those days.  The days we wonder why we push so hard and even if what we are pushing for is worth it.  While it isn't always going to be clear, realizing it won't always be easy helps ground us in reality.  It helps us know that there will be days when it will take all we are, but those are the days we remember the most!  Those are the moments we realize the things we fight for the hardest provide us an appreciation that we may not have had if it were just given to us. Think about where you are right now.  How much of what you are did you fight for?  Maybe you forgot what it was like before and how much it meant to you!  So much you defied all limitations and overcame all obstacles to have it.  Appreciate the journey and your progression.  Focus on what you do have instead of what you don't.  Where have all the blessings gone?  Not all blessings are in disguise... You made it through the day and tomorrow you get another opportunity to go after it again.  Another day to give all of you to all of life, and that is a blessing all in itself.

Daily BITUB- "Prepare!"

There are the journeys into the unknown and then those familiar territories we have ventured through time and time again.  Sometimes the hardest ones are the ones we have travelled before.  We think we know what to expect, so we become complacent, and before we know it we are not prepared for the unexpected. "I will prepare and one day my chance will come."  That is one of my favorite quotes from Abraham Lincoln.  It applies more often than we think.  We must always look for ways to develop our talents, skill sets and look to improve our opportunities.  The easy paths won't always be, but taking each one with the same passion, drive and attitude of determination will have you ready for whatever comes your way. Appreciating your blessings is nurturing them.  It is being grateful by not overlooking the power within those blessings to face a challenge, to stand up for what you believe in and to attack the day!  Attack it with the understanding that everything that can happen might, but with faith in who we are, what we know, how we prepared...   When our chance comes we will be more than ready for it!

Daily BITUB- "Be Better!"

Every day you think of a way to be better.  You think of how today you will make the decisions that might change your course. Some days it works.  Some days it doesn't. We sit back and scratch our heads wondering why our thoughts aren't clear, why the plan didn't work, why we are here and not there.  Where did we go wrong?  We planned, we were meticulous in our strategy...  We had a short term goal and a long term dream.  Yet somehow we got distracted.  At some point we lost our drive.  

Yet somehow we are still here.  Somehow amidst all the questions of " why"we find that one answer of "why not now"!  Why not go again?  Why not dig deep and push on!  Why not find the passion that started this journey and reignite it!  Why not pick yourself up and reengage!  Yes why not!  It's in you!  It's up to you! Today is a great day to reinvest in you!  After all every day you are blessed to think of ways to be better.
