God why did You answer that prayer that way? It wasn't what I wanted. It wasn't what I had in mind. Why would You not do what I asked for?
Why?
Many times throughout life I've asked that time and time again. Even though faith tells me to trust in God I found myself at times asking the questions anyway. There are moments when we all call our choices, our situation, our place in life into question. There are moments when the trials, the challenges and the adversity wear us down. It's those moments, however, that provide us with a deeper sense of appreciation for the blessings of life. They help us to notice what we do have instead of what we don't, and as we stand in our darkest places they give us the ability to see even the smallest bit of light.
I've said it before... Just because God doesn't answer our prayer the way we want doesn't mean He didn't answer our prayers exactly the way we needed.
