BITUB- "We Remember"

We remember...   

We remember a lot of things about that day.  Where we were, what we felt, how we made sense of it all in our mind.  We remember where our loved ones were, what they were doing, the phone calls.  We remember the coverage on TV, the commentary and all the different stories of what "really" happened.  We remember!  Then I remember the families, the firefighters, policeman, the heroes... I remember the many who came together to make a difference, the many others who were determined to influence the future by staying true to their present.  I remember the fight of many and the prayers of all!   I remember how we all pledged to be better, to love more, to live life, to appreciate our blessings, to grow, become and excel in all we do/did.  I remember believing for those who were going to find it hard to keep believing in that moment.   I... We... Remember 9/11 as a time when God carried us and our Faith in Him comforted us.  We remember, but more importantly we must continue to do all those things we said we would.  That's remembering the importance of the promises we made then and we make now to achieve the goals and dreams we still are blessed to have the opportunity to realize.
