How often do we refuse to ask for help? We are almost conditioned to believe that if we do we are weak, we don't know something, or that we are not capable of doing anything on our own. Then if we actually did ask for help, that would mean we have to stop long enough to do it, and we think that we simply don't have time for that. It took me years to realize that reaching out for a helping hand isn't a weakness, but a strength. It is realization and appreciation of the resources God puts in our lives to push us, pull us, lift us, and carry us when we need it most! So as you move through your day don't hesitate to ask for guidance, for understanding, for reassurance... And don't be so quick to dismiss others when they need the same. We are blessed and privileged to have people in our lives that can comfort us along the way, and we are blessed and privileged to have people in our lives that we can comfort along the way.
