Ah how we love the mountain top! We want so much to stand upon that peak and appreciate the things we have done to get there, but we don't. We quickly forget why we pushed, what we pushed for, and our eyes turn to the next. Sometimes we must stop and take it in. We must enjoy the view just for a moment and realize the trials we faced, the people who helped us face them, and the blessings God gives us to keep us going! We should always raise the bar higher at each new peak, but we mustn't forget to be grateful for everything and everyone that is a part of the journey to each new level of accomplishment. We mustn't forget to say "thank you", "I appreciate you", "you matter to me"! In turn we must all remember to reach out and pull others along with us, to ask others what they need, and to be willing to set ourselves a side for a moment in order to be that blessing that someone may need to keep themselves going today. There are always peaks! Always new mountains to climb! Always valleys we must travel through! As is the case, there will always be moments to appreciate the people that are constant reminders of who you are, why you are, and why you do what you do!
