Daily BITUB- "Extremes"

Over my life I've been in many situations where I allowed myself to get caught up in extremes.  From one emotion to the next, from one view to the other...  The list could go on and on.  It's not easy to balance yourself in a world where extremes seem to be the norm and the desire for more and more can push us to our limits.  Often it's that desire to have it all that clouds us from appreciating what we do have.  We all need that balance between wanting and needing, from taking and giving, from being open to ideas, but firm in our beliefs.  It's not sometimes, it's most times.  I've come to realize that while we balance one thing we may lose our balance on another.  While that's part of living, it's our trust that faith, prayer, and a belief in God and His strength are very heavy... And as we find ourselves out of balance it is those things that can quickly bring us back to exactly where we should be.  Today and every day let us ask God to "remove far from (us) vanity and lies; give (us) neither poverty nor riches; feed (us) only food sufficient for (us)."- Proverbs 30:8
