Sometimes you just miss them. Those special people that have gone on to a better place. A place where they always belonged. A place where they watch over us. Even knowing that though... You still miss them. It's ok to miss them you know. It's not that you don't cherish the memories. It's not that you don't appreciate the moments you got to spend with them. Sometimes things just trigger memories that make you long for new ones while basking in those of years past. It's part of feeling. It's part of reminiscing. It's part of sharing you with others. Faith is a powerful thing. It tells us to trust when things become difficult to comprehend. It tells us not to question, but to hold tight to hope and love. It tells us that God has a plan, a path for us, and as we travel it we will encounter what we need to reach the destinations we are supposed to reach. I have faith. I lean on it often, but sometimes you just miss them.
