Daily BITUB- “A New Day”

How beautiful is a new day?  Amidst all that goes on around us we have the power to be a positive part of so many moments. It's so easy to get caught up in the ever-changing world.  Even easier to get caught up in how negative things are lately.  There is no guarantee of what can be, but there is a guarantee God is with us through it all.  While I can donate time, money, clothes, I can offer up my thoughts which may be completely opposite of someone else.  I can give comfort through ideas and express what I stand for.  I can argue what's right and I can listen to what others think is right.  I can do all that and yet still things will happen.  So do we stop?  Do we give in?  No!  We keep doing our best to influence what we can.  To be a positive part in the lives we may touch today.  To lend faith to those who may need it right now.  To give prayers to those who are looking for answers.  To give comfort, hugs, smiles, thoughts.  We can't stop being the good we want the world to be. As I've said often, maybe we don't change the world, but we must believe in what we believe, trust in God, have faith that things can be better, and do our best to not let the world change us.
