"Jesus said, Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." -Matthew 19:14
If you have children, are blessed to be around them, teach them, learn from them... Whatever capacity they are in your world then you know that children change our lives. So it is our responsibility and a privilege to want and need to commit all we can to change theirs. Be aware of your influence. Never give up, always be honest and be the example they can model their lives on. We must not only know right from wrong, but we must teach them why it's right and why it's wrong. Allow them to express themselves openly and help them to understand beauty exists in being true to who you are not what you have or who you know. Bask in their innocence, and while you should share your experience in life, you must allow them to live theirs. Let them try, let them fail, but ensure they know they will always have the comfort you promise to provide. Let them see God is abundant in your life and His blessings are ever present in theirs. Let them share your faith and help them to understand things as they develop their own. Let them know their dreams matter by showing them that your dream is and always will include them. Every chance you get let them know that they are a big part of why you are able to believe in those unbelievable moments. Simply because of the many moments that you are blessed to have with and through them.
