Whose reality really matters? People spend lifetimes trying to be something they are not. They wear the clothes, work the jobs, live the lives they think they are supposed to until that one day they realize they are standing in the middle of a life that isn't theirs.  It's not easy to stop it sometimes.  It's not even noticeable other times.  It's even harder to admit it and then make the changes necessary to create your reality.  Your ability to find happiness is based on the choices you make.  It is dictated by your commitment to those things that you know matter and that you are willing to dedicate the time and effort into achieving.  Make the conscious decisions each day to bring yourself closer to the reality you want. It's there you are at your best. It's there your faith takes the lead. It's there you are YOU! Remember to live life... Don't spend so much time proving to others who they think you are that you forget to focus on who you know you need to be.

Sometimes the day hits you more than you expected.  It pushes you back no matter how hard you try to dig in and grind out the day.  You get unmotivated, tired,  and even question why you do what you do.  You think there may not be a resolution, a solution, or even a meaning to it all.  Then, out of nowhere, you see it.  You see the little glimmer of light you missed when you first entered into this and the entire room was lit.  That one thing that drives you.  The one thing that reminds you of who you are and why you are.  Maybe it was a moment when someone said you couldn't.  Maybe it was a moment when you found yourself without hope only to discover hope never goes away if we don't let it.  Maybe it was at your weakest when you fell to your knees and realized that you hadn't prayed in a while so you did.  Maybe it was when you remembered what you are doing isn't for you, but for those that matter most to you.  Maybe it was simply a glimpse into the mirror where you stood face to face, eye to eye, toe to toe with the one person who you shouldn't ever let down… YOU. Regardless, no matter what the day brings focus on your ability, your faith, and the belief that you can and will bring more!

Get up!  Get motivated!  Get inspired!  This is the day the Lord has made, but what you do with it is up to you!  I'm not going to give up on you...  Too many people never gave up on me!  I know you have it in you!  I know you have the passion to deliver, the drive to succeed and the dedication needed to push through the obstacles.  Take a look at you!  Dig in to the experiences, the knowledge, the talents and the blessings and use it all to get enough momentum to keep moving forward!  You need some faith, then those that love you will lend you theirs!  You need support, then look around at everyone offering it!  The helping hands, the shoulders to cry on, the encouraging words...   It's all there you just have to see it!  You have to believe you can!  You have to believe you will!  You have to pray for His guidance and then trust He is sending you the way you are supposed to go!  Take that leap! Daily BITUB- "Potential"

Often times we stand idle full of potential, but afraid to apply it.  Afraid because reaching out and pushing ourselves beyond a limitation means we are now in a position to get exposure or be exposed.  Exposed for what we may not know.  That doesn't mean that we can't know it!  It doesn't mean that we can't learn, study and work on ourselves to reach the level we know we are capable of reaching.  Things don't happen overnight, but often that desire for instant gratification keeps us from seeing that anything worth having is worth working for, fighting for and earning!  You have to be open to the feedback that you may not be at the place you think you are, and then apply that feedback.  Put it into your self development plan.  Learn what you can, study what you need to know, apply your experiences, fine tune your skills, overhaul your biggest areas of opportunity and lean heavily on what you do know while you work on what you don't.  Today is a great day to create opportunities instead of waiting for them to come to you.  Today is a great day to influence the outcome of your dreams, your goals, your vision and all the possibilities that await those willing to pursue them.

Daily BITUB- "Hit Pause"

Sometimes it's important to pause.  To sit and reflect.  To appreciate and give thanks.  To tell God you want nothing more today then to say "Thank you, for all He does...  Especially for the things we don't realize."  We've all been in that place where we pray for the things we want and then question when God gives us what we need instead.  Those blessings in disguise can be overlooked until they reveal themselves often at the exact moment God knows we need them.  Having trouble seeing them?  Don't move so quickly through the good times.  Don't be so busy chasing life you forget to live.  Don't work so hard you forget why you are working.  Don't give up on those dreams because it's never too late to go after them.  Don't forget to say "I love you" to those you do, you never know what tomorrow will bring.  So today just sit, reflect, hit pause and in your prayers today simply tell God how thankful you are for the blessings you know about and especially all the ones you don't.

What battle are you facing today?  What's your mission?  What's the vision for the moment and the plan to get there?  Are you dug in, committed, dedicated to what you must do?  Thing is if you want it then you have to be willing to want it with all of you!  You have to be willing to understand that everything that can be won can also be lost. You must decide if it's worth it and then believe!  Believe and have faith that you are on the right road!  Use that faith that lies within you to push through the obstacles and don't be content with less than all you are capable of achieving!  Backing down to fear of the outcome should never be an option! Opportunity knocks, but not always when you are ready for it.  That doesn't mean you aren't appreciative or aware of it.  Yet our ability to be prepared by constantly working and developing ourselves helps us be ready when opportunity arises.  It gives us the ability to take each opportunity as it comes and decide if this one is right for us or if we can, even should, wait for the next one.  Sometimes we miss our window, but believing in faith and trusting in God's path means that there may be another opportunity that will come in to our lives.  Trust the instinct you have to know what's right for you. If you are not confident then no matter the opportunity it will not work. You have to find balance in your life. Every now and then we must change the course.  It's part of progression. It's part of evolving. It's realizing that where we are is only a part of the many crossroads we are destined to encounter. Reality, however, is that we are asked to change the course even at times when we are not ready. We question our place. We may even question our faith... Only to find it's our faith that we exactly should be thinking about. It's the glue that holds our foundation together. It's the source of our power and where our dreams began and will continue. The crossroads may seem unfamiliar at times, but we must remember that no matter the obstacle the ability to remain constant in who we are should always bring the familiarity we need. So as change, choices and new things hit us... Ready or not... It is "us" that we must fall back on. The one who has already surmounted plenty to be here today! Daily BITUB- "Masterpiece"

Ever wondered how people see you?  Those special people... The ones that we look up to.  The ones that motivate and give us strength daily.  The ones we live for.  If we allowed those closest to us to paint us what would that look like? What colors would be used? What would be in our hands? What would we be wearing? Where would we be located?  Would anyone else be in that picture? Would we be sitting, standing, laughing, crying?  What if you painted that picture?  How similar would it be? Would you be happy with it?  Daily we get the privilege of painting our picture, because as it should be, we are all a work in progress.  Our priorities, our goals, what and who matters most is all a reflection of who we are and what we strive to be.  So, what picture are you painting today?  God's gift of life is an ever changing canvas...  A canvas that provides the perfect opportunity for a masterpiece. May you never stop working on it!
