Daily BITUB- “Opportunities”

When an opportunity presents itself we may jump at the chance to have it. We may think it's our only option. We look for signs from God as to what we should or shouldn't do. After all we have been praying that an opportunity would present itself, so clearly it's the one. Maybe though, because we have been starved for opportunity we think it's the best thing out there. Maybe we haven't really looked. Maybe we feel it's best not to take a chance and wait for something else. I mean what if nothing more comes our way? The question should be what have we have done besides waiting for the opportunity to present itself? Shouldn't we go out and create one? Remember God answers prayers, but it's up to us to realize our role in those answers. What is important to us? What sacrifices are we willing to make? Not just for us, but for the many in our lives that rely on us to make those decisions. There will always be opportunities. You must trust in God, trust in faith, and believe that which ever opportunity you take God will be there every step of the way.

Daily BITUB- “Motivation”

"I've been motivated by overcoming challenge and overcoming the hurdles and obstacles that face me. There still is plenty out there to get motivated by."- Andre Agassi

I came across this quote this weekend and It made me think about how we are in constant motion towards being better, to growing, to finding our next level. That is of course if we are up to the challenges we are faced with each and every day. There will always be something to push us, but it is up to us to face it, to not back down, to fight for what matters. Are we willing to accept that we can do more? Are we able to not question God's plan for us, but rather embrace it? Are we going to set the bar at new heights each day? Will we allow ourselves to be inspired, to find strength in adversity, to have faith in what God has in store for us, and trust it is good for us? It's a choice! A choice to face the challenges that we are blessed to face, and as the quote says, there is still plenty to be motivated by... That is of course if we choose to allow ourselves to be motivated.
