You want to paint that moment that changed everything. You are thinking of what that moment should be, but too many come to mind. Throughout our lives many things help shape us. While there are big moments that may change our course there often isn't one thing we do that completely defines us. There are so many pieces to the puzzle that make up that big picture. Each instance, each experience, every moment is a part of what makes us who we are. The failures we experience don't characterize us. They are simply a part of the building blocks that allow us to build upon our foundation to reach new heights. The negative people we encounter shouldn't dictate how our day should be. They simply are a test to determine our ability to be the positive even when others say we shouldn't be. Our environment doesn't create our world. It is simply where we are, but does not determine where we are capable of going. There are so many things that can encourage us, derail us, bring us joy, give us pain... Nothing is as influential in our lives as our attitude and how we perceive things. Though all of it matters each experience is a piece of the whole. God already knows what the image we are painting is. It's up to us to get there. It's up to us to keep painting through the adversity, setbacks, mountains, and valleys. Take all of it and put it together and the end result is God's beautiful masterpiece where we ultimately are the only ones to determine which image we will paint and exactly how and why we will paint it.
Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU, and my prayer for you today is that whatever canvas you are staring at today that you take a moment to appreciate the beauty that God has painted in you.
