Daily BITUB- “No More Noise”

I once read that when someone stops talking, stops helping, stops showing interest it means they no longer care. In our professional and personal lives that's something we sometimes overlook. We think things are ok because the noise has stopped, but that's when things might be worse than it has ever been. Sometimes all someone wants is to be heard. They want understanding and they want a chance for someone to make them feel like they matter. They want the respect that comes from doing things that they know we know makes a difference for them. We don't see how our actions, or our non actions, can hurt people. We miss the opportunities to do small things that are big to others. We don't see the value of a helping hand, that ear to listen, that shoulder to cry on until we are no longer asked to do it. No one is wanting anything from us. No one feels like their opinion, their interests, their well being matters to us. Then before we realize no one is asking for anything anymore. Then we start to miss the noise and wonder how we overlooked it in the first place. Be aware of things you can influence now. Be aware of the people in your life raising their hand right now asking for help, for attention, for the smallest of things. Be aware of the beauty in being able to give today so that tomorrow you are blessed to continue to give.

Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you allow yourself a moment to see those around you that need you. That you feel blessed that you get to be there for them, and you give thanks for all those that are there for you.

Have a blessed, safe, and healthy day everyone.

  1. This right here. Sometimes it's the silence that hurts the most.
