I heard that yesterday. I looked at the person who said it and told them, "Yes, life is hard." I've been there. I've been in that place where I felt torn between things. I've wondered why it was so hard, about the impact of my decisions and what that impact would be on me and others.
Yes... "Others"!
Sometimes we forget that we are not alone and that we should never face life that way. Trying to handle all of it by yourself? Why? If it impacts others why wouldn't we ask for help? Why wouldn't we ask for prayers? Why wouldn't we allow God and His blessings to hold us while we go through this trial?
There are going to be tough decisions. There will be choices we must make. There will be crossroads that will potentially change the course of our lives. Thing is the one choice we should always make is to never go at it alone. There are too many people in our lives that support, listen and can offer experiences to help guide us. God ensures that we are surrounded by blessings... It's up to us to recognize that when life gets hard. In doing so we will find that not only do we have the support we will need, we have a foundation to stand on and the comfort of knowing that God will always be there... And thus no matter what we face we will never be alone.
