I've met many people who look for the bad in situations. They seek the negative. They look for flaws, look for reasons to be angry, they look for reasons to challenge anything they can. There isn't a whole lot that can be done to avoid those situations... If you're living life you're going to cross the paths of those people. So what do you do? I know that it isn't always easy. It can be draining sometimes and their negative can really change the dynamic of a room and the path of a day. That is if you allow it. It really is a matter of choice. Just as they choose to be them you are blessed in your ability to be YOU! Go ahead be the light in their dark. After all the more you illuminate the room the harder it will be for anyone to cast shadows. Think about your influence. You can choose to not allow their attitude to change your outlook... Your smiles, your positive, your simple ability to love, share and comfort may be what changes theirs. We are blessed and we all have so much to be thankful for... Sometimes it is our ability to appreciate it that helps others to realize they can too.
