Recently I've been working on telling myself to "be more". To not just do the minimum, but to stretch myself to exceed my personal and professional benchmarks. It's not easy to shift the thoughts of complacency and to move beyond comfort zones, but it's necessary if growth is a goal. So, when I'm at my limits I tell myself to do more. Be more than those limitations. When something bothers me and I want to act, I think have more understanding. Be aware of how your actions might not help the situation. Be more than your emotions. When I want to give up I work to push and find more in me. I tell myself to be more than the task, and focus on the end result. It's an everyday intentional mindset. Be more aware of your time and how it's spent. Be more accessible to those that need you. Be more open to asking for help. Be more honest about where you are in life and where you want it to be. Be more true to your values, your priorities, to your family, friends, yourself. Be more faithful to God and His teachings. We are much more capable than we give ourselves credit for sometimes. We throw in the towel before we even know those capabilities. Push yourself. Why not just take a deep breath and tell ourselves today, "I will be more".
Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you allow yourself to reach beyond the limitations others probably set for you long ago. Only you know you, and only you can push yourself to do, become and be more.
