I get it, you want it. It's important, Don't overlook the details though. It's important to keep your eye on the prize, but don't get so caught up in the big scenario you start to misstep. We must tend to the smaller things that help create the foundations necessary to build on. We can't cut corners. We can't put our responsibilities on hold. We can't forget the importance of doing the little things well. Our values can't take a backseat, ever. All of it matters. The interactions we have, the conversations we initiate, the moments we make, the lives we touch, the small gestures, and the biggest blessings all must be in play all the time. Don't step on others to get ahead. Don't hurt people to feel better. Don't stop serving others for personal gain. Pay attention to what you do and how you do it. Every big picture is made up of many parts. Every part matters to someone, and thus should matter to us. Don't overlook the details. It is in the details we will find just how important it really can be for us and for others.
