Sometimes we allow our ego to hold us back. It can, and will be, an obstacle that creates a blind spot that doesn't allow us to see opportunities to be of service. We start serving for recognition, and before we know it we aren't serving anyone but ourselves. Being a servant leader doesn't mean you don't seek out guidance. In fact it's quite the opposite. Sometimes our perspective can be tunnel visioned. We only know what we know and being intentional in wanting to help others we must seek out ways to do so. Learning from experience I've learned the value of embracing other's experiences to help me grow beyond myself. When we put our ego away we remember that our focus should be in the people we are called upon to serve, not ourselves. As we do that we inherently start to realize that feedback, support, and guidance are sources of service that resonate beyond just us. We allow others to share, we give others outlets to serve and in turn we are serving in ways maybe we never realized we could. Then we begin to understand being of service isn't something we do it is something we are blessed to be.
Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you lay down that ego and embrace the beauty of accepting that the more we see others the more we begin to see ourselves.
Have a blessed, safe, and healthy day everyone.
