Two thoughts have helped me lately overcome many challenges and challengers. I've come to realize that these have been a part of my journey and my progression into understanding what a life of service and servant leadership really means for quite sometime.
1. Everything adds value.
2. Everyone can add value.
All our experiences provide something. All of them. Pay attention to that. There are lessons to be learned, steps that we take to enhance the situation, and moments that simply give us perspective into who we are and who we can be. Everyone we encounter will give us something to take with us. We will learn about trust, faith, leadership, development, character in all of our interactions if we are intentional in allowing ourselves to fully embrace those opportunities. Find the value. Sometimes you'll need to dig deeper, go further, push boundaries, exceed expectations, but it's there. Value is influence and we must choose how we influence and ultimately how others will influence us.
Embrace the opportunities today, and never stop working on your progression.
Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you are surrounding yourself with opportunities to provide a positive influence, and that you are able to find the value in each experience.
