I read a quote recently that said, "listen to those who have gone silent." That hit me hard on many levels. From business to personal experiences when the loudest person stops talking that means they have moved on, or worse simply stopped caring. We may miss it. We overlook our opportunities to right a wrong, to help someone who is now quietly asking to be helped, to be a beacon in their storm. Maybe we are so wrapped up and head down we don't see it. Maybe we don't want to see it. Maybe we think it's too much for us to handle. I've learned everyone who has crossed my path, both good and bad, brought something with them. God doesn't misstep in His intentional guidance of our lives. We are there in those moments for a reason. You are there in someone's life for a purpose. Often times you don't have to do anything, but be there. Be there as a shoulder, a sounding board, a helping hand, a hug, a smile, a word of encouragement. It takes nothing to give and even less to be kind in all walks of life. People are praying for a voice, and our ability to hear them when that voice is silent may be the blessing that carries them through the day and gives them hope for tomorrow.
Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you "Don't forget to do good and to share what you have because God is pleased with these kinds of sacrifices." (Hebrews 13:16)
