This Sunday at church our Pastor preached about being aware of how we spend our time. It resonated with me as often I claim I don't have time for things, but in reality I have plenty of time, just choosing not to use it wisely. As the sermon continued he said we must use our time, treasures and talents to glorify God. I thought about how often I am prioritizing my time, and how it's not really what I want to be doing. I feel obligated to do things, and in fulfilling that I'm not giving my all to moments that aren't a part of a greater plan. That afternoon as I reflected more I began to understand that it's on us to shift our understanding of priorities, time, and commitment if we are going to align our focus with what we feel God intends for us to be doing. Our values, what we believe, what matters to us should rule our lives. None of that should ever be put on the back burner or negotiated. Those are the things that drive us to reach potential, to be better, to grow. Those are the things that resonate beyond us and have a positive effect on our influence, attitude, and perspective. It may just inspire others to do the same. "Small shifts in your thinking, and small changes in your energy, can lead to massive alterations of your end result." (Kevin Michel)
Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you use your gifts to influence the outcome of life. That in all things you give all glory and all appreciation to God for the many blessings He has bestowed upon you to have that influence.
Have a blessed day everyone.
