How often we ask others to listen to us, but we don't reciprocate it. How often we ask others to trust us, but then we don't trust back. How often we ask others to have faith, but then we fail to lean on our faith in times of need and uncertainty. We've all done it. Sometimes being real with ourselves is an eye opening experience. Telling ourselves what it's going to take to live out our game plan while maintaining truth in our relationships, our values, our foundation should always be a part of the plan. Reciprocal living is essential to having real, transparent, and nurturing relationships. Are you allowing that in your world right now? Are you giving, but not getting back? Is someone giving to you, and you not giving back? I've learned in all types of relationships that having the intimacy of being able to allow yourself a sense of being safe while being you is nurturing. It's powerful to know you have that, and you are that for someone else. Maybe it's a family member, your spouse, your friend. Maybe it's all of the above. Communicate what matters to you. Tell people what you need. Be honest about what that means, and the non negotiable things in your life that those close to you need to know to be in your life. Then simply allow others to do the same with you.
Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you have opportunities to be kind, to smile at someone, to encourage. If you don't, then seek it out, because somewhere someone needs it.
Have a blessed day everyone.
