"Grateful"
"Life will give you a gut full of reasons to be angry. You only need one to be grateful." I heard that yesterday while watching the trailer for a new movie, Father Stu. I sat there thinking about it for quite sometime. How many times does life beat the heck out of us? One thing after another, but then that one thing reminds us how beautiful life is. It makes us smile. It gives us joy. It picks us up, and urges us to move on. Maybe it's a memory. Maybe it's our kids laughing. Maybe it's a picture that just fills our heart. Maybe it's the noise of a game, a party, a song. Maybe it's the silence of a sunset. Maybe it's a hug that comforts us. Maybe it's watching our friends succeed. Maybe it's their joy when we do. Whatever it is don't overlook those moments. Don't waste your days angry over things that have passed. Instead find that one beautiful blessing that simply reminds you how grateful you get to be.
Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is that you know how grateful someone is for you right now. Let us, "Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." (Psalm 106:1)
