"God's Loan"
I recently read a statement that "all we are given is on loan from God." The more I thought about it the more that hit me. Everything from our days, our relationships, our opportunities, possessions, gifts, talents has been given to us by God. Not for us to hoard, but to offer up. To be servant leaders leading with servant hearts. To wake up each day with a mentality that we can, and should, give more than we take. In my memories on FB was a picture of my Pop and I last year with the comment, "that I won't ever take these moments with him for granted." I don't. More and more we must realize how we have to be thankful for the loaned time God gives us. The more we get that the less we will let moments get passed us without appreciating them. There is no guarantee tomorrow we will see each other, no promise we will get another first chance, no promise that more opportunities will come our way. As we are called upon to do things we must act. Take the shot, volunteer the time, be an ear, offer a shoulder, give of your own resources if you can, have the dinner with friends, make the calls to love ones. Do it all, and do it with all of you. We must always be good stewards of all the blessings God has loaned us.

"The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace."
