"Make It Happen"

I wrote this about a year ago. Sometimes I'll sit back and wonder what was going through my mind when I wrote it. I reread the comments and see people were facing similar emotions, and once again appreciate the words of encouragement. Yesterday I had a conversation with someone about some of their recent struggles and their fear of losing sight of their dreams. We talked about timing, resources, money, family, and faith. Then this popped up in my feed. So, I'll share it again this year for my friend and for whoever needs to see it today.

Do you feel like you are spiraling out of control? You can't figure out where you need to be, where you want to be, or even who you are. You thought you had it. You thought you knew exactly what you were supposed to be doing, and then all of a sudden you found yourself standing in the middle of a dream that wasn't yours. So, now what? What comes next? That's up to you now, isn't it? You can accept that this is what has to be, or you can gather up your blessings, get your courage, and leap in faith. Stop looking around at what others have, stop wondering why they are there and you are here, stop trying to put yourself in their shoes, stop it all, and start making things happen. Life is a gift, but what happens in life is entirely up to us. We can make it everything we want it to be, but we have to be willing to do what it takes to be it. Take a breath. Put your doubt, your worries, your fears aside and give it all to God. Then go. Go with the belief that while we can't put ourselves in everyone's shoes, we are blessed to all be in God's hands. 

Believe In The Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is from Isaiah 41:10. 

"Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
