"Are you who you say you are?"
It is important to learn how to really see yourself. Who you are is not as simple as just saying it. No, it is just as important to understand if you truly are the person you say you are. It doesn't matter what others say or think. It doesn't matter if you are putting on a great show day after day. It won't last. Ask yourself some questions. What type of person do you want to be? What are you doing to progress towards that person? What is at stake if you don't do the things you say you need to do to achieve it? Are you willing to not take days off from that pursuit? One of the hardest things for many people, including myself, is the commitment to staying the course. To being the blessings given to you by God, to living up to the morals and values you say matter, and to making moves daily that are intentional in progressing you closer to your goals. Having the self discipline to not cut corners, not deceive others, not pretend to ourselves we are ok with less than our full potential is crucial. I used to tell people to be the person you want others to see. Truth is we must be the person we want to see. We must declare it to that person in the mirror what we want, what it will take to get it, and then make ourselves accountable to that reflection day after day. If it is not helping you become that person, then it's time to take a stand against yourself and remove it. Every action, every interaction, everything we allow to influence our behaviors must be intentional. Don't just say who you want to be. Start being it.
Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is for you to remember you are child of God. We all are. As it is written "And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me," Says the Lord Almighty. ( 2 Corinthians 6:18)
Have a blessed day everyone.
