Daily BITUB- "Choices and The Path”

"Choices and The Path"

I can feel it around me sometimes. People's anxiety, turmoil, fear. This time of year it happens. We get caught up in choices we must make about people, places, gifts, trips, time off, what is priority and what is not. We aren't sure if, or even how, to do it. It takes up space in our heads. Maybe you are feeling it right now this very moment. You are facing some tough decisions about life. Are you afraid of what those may bring? Think back and remember some of the decisions you have made before. We are masters at doom and gloom. We miss those moments that went exactly as we had hoped. Those decisions that changed our course and set us on a path that we are grateful we are on. That's not to say it was easy going all the time. It shouldn't be. We need the lessons, the growth, the experiences. So we can reflect back on it when we need it. So we can share our story with others. It's hard, no doubt. We get anxious about those unfamiliar places we have yet to go. The ripple of what we choose. Trust your heart. Trust in faith. Remember, though we may be on unfamiliar ground we are comforted by the presence of God within the people and things He places on that path.  Everything we experience is part of His plan, and thus while it seems our course has changed we are exactly where we should be in that moment. Once we accept that, our faith allows us to embrace those decisions.  We find our passions and dreams once again at the forefront and we reengage ourselves in moving closer and closer to making them our reality. As only we can do. As we reflect on those moments we must remember every choice matters. They shape us, challenge us, give us strength, build our character, and set a new starting point to the blessings and opportunity for new decisions to be made today.

Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer is one of my favorite verses. From Philippians 6:7. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Have a blessed day all.
