"Carry On" (Dec. 13th 2016)
This was in my memories today from a few years back. I went back to look at my journal and saw what made me write it. It felt fitting for today, this season of life, this moment. So, I thought I would share it again as a reminder for those who have seen it, and for those who are new to the BITUB journey.

You have to carry on. When things get crazy and everything seems to be going awry it's easy to get overwhelmed. It's even easier to lose that feeling that everything is going to be ok. When it happens, and it happens to all of us, find your focal point. Find that one thing that steadies you. Maybe it's your spouse, your children, your friends, family, your desire to reach a goal, your big dream, your past, your present, your vision of the future. Whatever it is that's God's way of saying, "here is a blessing you can always count on to remind you I am here with you." We all have that one thing that brings us back to a point where we can gather ourselves before moving on. That one thing that gives us confidence, reminds us of why we do what we do, provides us the motivation to push on, the calm within the storm. When life gets crazy find it, focus on it, dwell on the beauty of what it means, allow it to comfort and reenergize you, and then carry on.
