"Relationships"
How deep do your relationships go? That's a tough question on a grand scale from those close to you to those that are simply acquaintances. What I have learned over the years is there are some relationships that must be nurtured, some that need to stop, and others that help you grow. What we might overlook is the effort we put in to relationships. We've all probably had some we put too much effort in to that simply created more toxicity for us. Those are the relationships that drained us. They never exactly felt right, but instead of trusting our instincts we continued. The result usually was that we stopped paying attention to the real relationships in our life. The ones that matter and the ones that make us better. When we talk about reciprocity, we are talking about giving what you expect to get. Think about how many people may have walked away from you because you were not being a good friend, family member, person. You were spending time on things that didn't nurture that relationship. Harry Firestone said, "You get the best out of others when you give the best of yourself." So, I'll ask the question again. How deep do your relationships go? Are you spending the energy, the time, the commitment to nurture those that you want to remain in your life, and to grow in your life? Are you giving what you expect to get? As far as relationships go, it is on us to create the bonds we want to create, and those bonds are only as strong as we allow them to be.
Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is for peace. A prayer for peace of mind. A prayer for you to lay it down and give it to God. So that you may rest easy in His name, and give thanks for a day of possibilities.
Have a wonderful day everyone.
