"Those People"
Sometimes we forget to appreciate the things that others do for us. Unfortunately it's really easy to do because some people simply do it asking nothing in return. They go about the day offering a smile, a helping hand, a word of encouragement, a shoulder, even just an ear to vent to. They remind you to say your prayers, to appreciate the small things and to give thanks for all the beauty in your life. They often stand back avoiding the recognition and they never talk about why, what or when they do something for someone else. Those are beautiful blessings. Think about your day. Think about the people you encounter. Think about those positive influences. Think about the people who you can't wait to see and talk to. The ones you hope come into the room because they will instantly bring light to it. You know that person. You know exactly who that is in your life. While they may not want a "thank you" today take a moment and thank God for them. Thank God for those people that remind us to be grateful, to enjoy life and to remember just how blessed we truly are each and every day.
Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer today is simply a prayer for each other. May we experience the joy of loving, of sharing, of living, of being able to give thanks for this day The Lord has made.
