"Crossing Paths"

You ever wonder why someone crossed your path? Why did they hurt you? Why does this person brings so much joy to you? Why do you feel intimidated by this person, or why do you feel so comfortable with someone else? You wonder and sometimes you feel helpless to those feelings. Often I think we allow things to happen because we think that's the way it should be. We are afraid to intervene, or we simply believe the outcome "is what it is". You can't assume you know the outcome. There are too many things that can happen that change the course of the moment. Too many things that can happen that bring on the unexpected and takes us into uncharted territory. Those are the places we can lose our way, feel abandoned, and forget why and what brought us to this juncture in our lives where people cross our paths. Those are the experiences where even the strongest in faith can find themselves questioning it. Thing is we don't always know what or when something is coming. We don't know how it will impact the course of the journey. We don't know if we are in that moment because someone needs that blessing. Maybe it's us who needs it. We can't assume, foresee or change the outcome of all things, but we certainly have the influence towards our attitude, our fortitude and our faith in knowing whatever comes we are in God's hands. Sometimes it's understanding that means we are influential, and we are blessed to help others, and we must allow them to help us. After all, we all cross paths for a reason.

Believe in the Unbelievable that is YOU and my prayer for you today is for you to feel God's presence in your relationships. If you are feeling like things are everywhere trust in Him. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22)
